Sept. 18 - Sept. 22 (Week 4)

Kindergarten - 1st grade: Students will continue working on their mouse control skills by using Sketchpad.  Students will also be introduced to educational games on ABCya that practice mouse control, such as Letter and Number Tracing, and Tangrams.

2nd grade: Students will continue to use Dance Mat Typing to practice their home row typing skills.  The students will be working on Level 1, Stage 3 (practice typing R and U).

3rd - 4th grade: Students will be completing Study Island Benchmark testing.

5th grade: Students will be completing CDT tests.

6th grade: Students will continue to use Peter's Online Typing to practice using the home row technique when typing.  The students will be working on Lesson 5 Using the Shift Keys.

Sept. 11 - Sept. 15 (Week 3)

Kindergarten - 1st grade: Students will continue working on their mouse control skills.  Students will practice clicking and moving their mouse using Sketchpad and educational mouse control games on ABCya (ex: letter and number tracing).

2nd - 3rd grade: Students will continue working on typing using home row.  The students will begin Level 1, Stage 2 (practice typing E and I) on Dance Mat Typing.

4th - 6th grade: Students will continue working on typing using home row.  The students will be practicing home row, home row extended index fingers, and the shift keys using Peter's Online Typing.

Sept. 4 - Sept. 8 2017 (Week 2)

Kindergarten - 1st grade: Students will be working on their mouse control using a program called Sketchpad.  The students will practice moving and clicking their mouse.

2nd - 3rd grade:  Students will be working on their typing skills.  The students will focus on using home row, left hand (a, s, d, f) on a program called Dance Mat Typing.  During the first class the students will complete Lesson 1, Stage 1.

4th - 6th grade:  Students will be working on their typing skills.  The students will focus on using home row (a, s, d, f, j, k, l, ;) on a program called Peter's Online Typing.
