Kindergarten: Students will begin using Dance Mat Typing. Students will practice with Dance Mat Typing to become familiar with the keyboard and the home row keys.
1st grade: Students will continue working with Google Docs. We will be practicing inserting images, typing using capital letters and punctuation, and printing.
2nd grade: Students will be listening to books being read from Storyline Online. We will be answering comprehension questions about the books and typing the answers into Google Docs using correct capitalization, punctuation, and spacing.
3rd grade: Students will begin learning about Internet basics (search bar, address bar, back/forward arrows, refresh, and bookmarking). We will practice doing internet searches using keywords and reliable sources.
4th grade: Students will begin learning about Internet basics (search bar, address bar, back/forward arrows, refresh, and bookmarking). We will practice doing internet searches using keywords and reliable sources. Students will be completing a Webquest in the upcoming weeks.
5th grade: Students will continue working with Google Slides to complete their Novel Project (creating a story using 5 slides with transitions, backgrounds, images, and spell check). Students will be presenting their project to their classmates in the upcoming weeks.
6th grade: Students will begin working with Google Sheets. We will be learning about cells, rows, columns, and the tool bar of Google Sheets. Students will practice sorting, calculating, and graphing information. We will be creating a wish list using Google Sheets in the upcoming weeks.
